That is a beautiful truck, wish it was mine. The pics don't do the grand prix handles justice. I wished I had saved a better pic of the handles when I was saving all the others. I found it just by googling trucks several years ago and thought it was the shizzzz. You ought to see the rest of it!

Re: Kindig shaved doorhandles prices

The handles I'm trying are OEM for Mazda CX9, but custom for me. At $45 for the set they beat the crud out of Kindig. And they will work much better with the bear claw latches I'm installing.

It's only CUSTOM once ! when you and 5000 other guys can buy the same over priced part off the shelf it's no longer custom it's just another aftermarket piece , Building your own design is CUSTOM buying off the shelf makes you just another lemming parts installer .

break the mold and design fabricate and install it yourself ,THEN it's custom .

That so true. I spotted a couple of gp's with those handles in the wrecking yard recently. I may take them for future projects

Re: Kindig shaved doorhandles prices

Kindigs are well made, just not my deal. OKGMC4's actually look pretty nice, I was surprised with them. Just like anything we do to our projects its personal preference, we do build them for ourselves don't we?

I like the stock door handles. NOS ones have gotten to the ridiculous point now. Having your stock ones rechromed is expensive too. Personally I'm not a fan of anything billet, but there is a company that makes a very nice looking billet door handle for our trucks. I would probably use them on a build that was customish, not stock.

Good Idea and nice work .... I'm sure they're gonna look awesome .... Those plastic/pull style handles ... Knowing me I'm sure I'd yank them right off the door after a week though 😬
