Like Tom hand said about the 54 vette, I had a 95 mustang gt that had 94' limited edition chrome 17" wheels on it. It also had a 94' emisions control sticker underneith the 95' sticker on the hood. One more thing was that it had 94' rocker covers on it. It was one of the last 94's off the line and didn't go out until the 95' model run. It did have a 95' vin though. I know you guys don't like the F word but that is one car that i'm going to miss. btw that was just adding to the big three use left over parts. lol they also use left over cars / trucks....

my appologies

My appologies to those who have seen 68 small window cab. It makes sense about not throwing parts away. I still would like to see documentation on rare beast. I always wanted big window 67 now maybe I want a small window 68!!

mine too

I was glad to see a few more comments about the small window 68, not that anything has been proven, or that I was the first say it, because there were some before me. My statement was too bold. T hre thread almost died out, and its been difficult to eat with my foot stuck in my mouth

Now enough on the window, why are they picking on the poor old 72 Cheyenne super making it look like a every day deal why not the custom delux 300000+(I really have no idea) Oh, I get it ,they were pointing out how much people's tastes were improving over 1971.
Just having fun with the smiles, since i figured out they work
I love custom deluxes

I was always under the impression that in '67, the small window was standard, and the big window was on option, and in '68, it was the other way around. (big window standard, small, optional.
Just very few people ordered the small glass)
Big window from '69-on.

While I can only recall seeing one '68 pickup with a small window, (it was a plain-jane C-20 LWB stepside) I have had a few '68 C-30's, and they ALL had small windows. (cab/chassis models with either grain beds, or van boxes)
Likewise, I remember at least one '72 C-60 that was purchased new by a local bulk oil distributor, that had the big window, factory A/C, and the Custom level trim. Very uncommon for anything larger than a C-30!
I know the documentation says differently, but there are a few of them out there.

Also, For a few years, I drove a '67 C-30 that was original, and matching, that had side markers up front. (had a 14' dry box on back) I just assumed that being a C-30, that it had to conform to federal lighting requirements for 2nd div. vehicles (?) Maybe a late '67??

We have a 67 big back window, it's a 3/4t, came with a 292 and a slip-n-slide, powerglide, Dana 4:11 and it's a longbed., also has the smallest aftermarket tack I've ever seen. It fits into those old chrome guage holders that everybody used in the 60's. The truck now has a 350, RV cam, headers and a turbo 350 and a tremendous love for premeium gas(only use this kind in all my trucks).
