Thanks guys, its really been a fun project. I can't wait to get started on the inside (tailgating) part of the project. I want to hide all the additions so it still looks like an old ambulance when everything is put away.

Stay tuned

Re: 1974 Slambulance G10

Ok. I had to get a TV put in. I wanted to be able to 'hide' it. I was thinking a fold up and it would be out of sight on the ceiling, but then thought of this idea. Have it fold in the wall, then I can build a frame around it and hide it with a piece of white plexiglass. I figure the plexiglass will look light an X-RAY box.

Again, help from from Shawn (Trend Auto) and Ikandy Paintworks for doing a late night clear coat on it.

On to the pics!

No going back now:

Thanks Trend Auto for all the help!

Thanks Ikandy, the clear on this looks great!

It works!

Folded up (Will trim this out and put plexiglass over it later - that should protect it and hide it)

The other side:

OK we have a TV, lets go tailgating!

Re: 1974 Slambulance G10

That is a super cool tailgate rig! Your PM box is full. I could not reply to your message.
SO,,,

What part of AZ are you in? Yes I would love to take any input on the build you can offer. I prefer to learn from others and then only make my little mistakes, rather than make ALL the mistakes myself! Hoping to fly to Cali Wednesday and be in Phoenix Thursday morning. I'll give you my cell number on a PM later.

Thanks and Id love to see this rig too.
