Re: Santa came early? Farm fresh 67 C10 Short bed

Man on an original like that I would probably even try to avoid removing the rockers. You will never get them to look as cool as it looks right now. Back in the day they used to just "overlay" from the inside with an old sign or something, put carpet over that, and drive the wheels off of it.
I would "cherish" that look as long as possible. CLR it, and go.

Is it a "Custom" or "CST"?

Canuckvetter it's a Custom from what I can tell. Thanks, your truck is pretty cool too.

Re: Santa came early? Farm fresh 67 C10 Short bed

I don't know what the name of the paint is, but I have a twin to your pickup. Same color, 4545AD on SPID.
Mine is a long bed. Has sun visor on driver side only, arm rest on driver side only, small back window (which I don't care for...) I believe mine came w/ a 283, gear selector on column is for a powerglide. Mine came w/ factory AC, seemed weird to have AC on such a low option pickup.

Keep up the good work! I hope to get mine back on the road this year!

Re: Santa came early? Farm fresh 67 C10 Short bed

Finished all the paint work to the rust repaired areas. Used about 1/2 pint of Metalux base and a mat clear. Hanging the front fender trim and new front chrome bumper on her today. Installing new carpet and a grey houndstooth seat cover, then she'll be done.

Reconditioned trim installed and new chrome front and rear bumpers. Got a bath too. Cleaning and detailing under the hood tomorrow. Then installing new, ACC carpet and hoping my grey and houndstooth seat cover comes too.

Man......If you ever want to sell that thing hit me up. I hunt every day for stuff like that, I have had some good finds like an original paint 59 short bed, a super clean original paint short bed 79 dodge, but that thing is killer.

Re: Santa came early? Farm fresh 67 C10 Short bed

Thanks chewychevy67.
Ken B the truck runs like a top. When it's cold 2-3 pumps of the gas pedal with choke on and she fired right up. Yesterday we were in the high 30s in the morning,2-3 pumps of the pedal with the choke off she fired right up.
j_cst_10 the truck is listed here in the "trucks for sale" forum.
