Re: Tuff Pumpkin Build Thread 72 SWB
Christmas Eve was a good day for me. She's got the engine and trans in her now. Went super slick. Was actually very surprised how well everything went. Hope it continues to go smoothly.

Re: Tuff Pumpkin Build Thread 72 SWB
Got the motor, trans, radiator, harness and a few other things in over the holiday. Now I just need more money and parts to finish her up. Might have a big job coming up so I hope to get her finished by car show season.

Re: Tuff Pumpkin Build Thread 72 SWB
Nice build! The Holley accessory setup is pretty good bang for the buck and I think summit has it for a $100 off.

Re: Tuff Pumpkin Build Thread 72 SWB
Thanks, Rod. I'll look at them again. Of course I like the looks of the expensive ones. lol. That's how I got in this mess to begin with. This truck is getting bigger and badder by the day.

Re: Tuff Pumpkin Build Thread 72 SWB
Just a quick update. I left my truck at my friends house in TN while I'm working in TX to try and get some of the little stuff done while I make money to afford this beast. He was able to get the sound deadening in the interior, Holley fuel rails, new injectors, and steam ports on. He also did a little trimming on the harness so it has a nice clean look. I have my wheels on order and finally broke down today and ordered a Porterbuilt 4 link stage 2 rear dropmember as well as the inner frame stiffener. It was a ton of money but think it will be worth it in the long run. Still trying to figure out what the best way to go with the front accessories and also need to figure out my interior. I'm thinking about an aftermarket race seat to accept a 4 or 5 point harness. Not wanting to put a cage in her bit need a little safety equipment. Kinda leaning toward corbeau. Anyone have any experience with them in a c10?

Re: Tuff Pumpkin Build Thread 72 SWB
I got new carpet and had custom interior done. The seats look awesome. They were donors from a 2012 Silverado. I deleted the headrests so they don't stick up past the Windows. Also, the wheels are shipping this week. Can't wait to see them. Once they are in we will do the front suspension ( ridetech control arms, Viking double adjustable coil overs, and Baer breaks). The rear suspension is being held up by Porterbuilt. Not super happy with them at the moment. They had a 6 week lead time and I paid 100% up front. Waited until 7 weeks and called them yesterday. They said it will still be 2-3 more weeks. I have a limited time window I can work on the truck and if I don't get them sooner I may not be able to drive her this year. If that happens I may loose my cool. Anyway, here's some pics of the latest goodies.

Re: Tuff Pumpkin Build Thread 72 SWB
Thanks, guys. I got the seats from a local junk yard. Had a shop here in Ft. Worth do the upholstery. If you're local I can get the contact info. He does great work.
