Here's a pic of the grille mounted in my boy's room. We usually just leave the parking lights on at night for him, dimmed way down.

Re: Decorating ideas for your garage/man cave/home

Just getting started on my project. It is an existing barn/shop and needs to be finished inside.

I've got the workbench/office area underway but will need to extend that into the work bays.

Re: Decorating ideas for your garage/man cave/home

Keith Seymore I like the look of your shop. I don't have a shop at home, and I've been trying to come up with ideas on how I want it to look. I don't want it to look new. A barn or service station would suit me best.

Is that a Grand Prix? I didn't know about it.

In case it's not obvious the "Restroom" sign points out into the woods.

Cracks me up everytime I think about it...

I want to take a page out of special-K's book and do something like this with all my license plates/road signs and such. I had already grabbed this pic for inspiration, although I don't think I want them outside.

I'm still not convinced having "water" inside the house is such a good idea...

Nature's water closet.

I need to get me one of those signs. It won't look as neat on my metal building shop, but I LIKE it!

I made that one out of a piece of fence that fell off, and a stencil and paint from Michael's Craft store.

Actually it's a good thing we don't use out door toilets much anymore, because we don't get Sears Roebuck catalogues to stock them.

If I get my truck mobile this summer, I'll be able to get started on my "man cave." (Total garage renovation).

Re: Decorating ideas for your garage/man cave/home

I still have my factory Pontiac block that pushed my Funny Car into the 6.30s ET (quickest factory block Pontiac and 4th quickest Pontiac overall) in my shop office:

On one side of the working part of the shop, I have an old Tom Hanna front engine dragster body hanging on the back wall:
