Myself though didn't want the hassell of trying to work on it on the side of the road are having to get under the truck in the garage just to change the belt. Plus it takes a way from the old school theme of the engine bay!

i do like the old school look, so much where i wanted to stay with an R4, buttt im still doing research on it all. the ls swap has so much stuff gping on here, correct mounts, flywheel, bushings, headers alll the good stuff. thanks everyone

I kept mine stock. I am kinda cheap I guess, plus I did my swap over 10 years ago and the bracket selection was not what it is now.
Yes it is tight, I install mine after I put the engine in. It must slip in from the front. I also built my own motor mounts and everything is low and slid back as far as possible. I have not had any issues with it, the hoses fit but again it is all tight. I am embarking on a swap in a 1971 Camaro and I will need the high mount for it as there is no room to put the compressor in the factory stock location. Anything is possible sometimes it just takes some creativity. good luck Dave

Corvette Accessories, unfortunately the vette compressor will not work with vintage air.
