It is a pole barn...... price was the deciding factor....i have 4 other pole bars and the metal frame building was $30,000 higher than the pole barn frame building....they all have the same outside metal...

mine was 15.46 sq ft for concrete, metal building, freight & erection (does not include doors, interior build outs, electric, insulation)
how does that compare?

i couldn't do a pole barn-need the height

5 Walk doors 3 garage doors.... foundation,slab with plastic and wire.... 6000 s.f. building with one partition wall.... was 9.81 per s.f...shop has 14 ft. tall walls office has 9 ft walls....

and the office is fully insulated, the shop has insulation on roof only... and two six foot covered concrete porches..

adding 3 rollups (1 electric), insulation (roof/walls), site work, engineering, termites, 3 windows comes to 18.41 sf. (16' eaves) which includes cashing in lots of old favors. construction is booming in my area so i feel blessed at that figure. i don't believe i could build what you have for anywhere near your price.

interior buildout is another story 1200sf, 10' high outside dim, stairs, 125#sf mezzanine, 8' doors. it should well exceed the bldg sf price

using mini splits in the buildout. t5 lighting in shop. vintage barn lights in office, undecided on lighting in what will be a machining room.

electric is another big expense but i'm doing the labor from transformer to completion. + 3 phase - converter powered. estimate around 7k in materials-not including a/c

I like the color...they say it holds up better than the darker colors......we have started framing....waitin on bids from the hvac guy now..
