Re: New Entropy Radiator that DOESN'T FIT

I installed an Entropy radiator in my truck and had some fitment issues with the height also. I learned just like the upper mounts are different for larger radiators, so are the bottom mounts. These radiators require the larger mounts on the bottom also. So if your radiator support has the smaller mounts they need to be changed. I replaced mine and it made it much better but was still tight, but worked. Hope this helps.

I was thinking the same thing! I paid about half of that for my BeCool direct fit radiator and felt worked over after forking over that cash. But now I don't feel so bad. It too required a little massaging of the mounts to fit properly. But it cools like a monster.

Re: New Entropy Radiator that DOESN'T FIT

Yeah not sure on that price, I paid around $600 for mine with the fans & controller. It does look like he's using it for a diesel set up so maybe it was custom ?

The tri flow part adds some to the price and the fancy controller module to turn on the fans at a certain temp

Update. I received and mocked up the Champion CC369. It is a 3 core replacement, 1/2" shorter than my OEM Harrison radiator, other than that identical in measurements. I cut some strips of rubber from an old radiator hose and placed them in the saddle mounts underneath the regular rubber inserts to "snug it up". It fits perfectly and the OEM shroud and fan line right up. All aluminum Tig welded. $227 shipped to my door. Just waiting on some other parts before I button everything up.

Well ... Looks like it fit right out of the box and no need to " make it fit modifications" Looks like I'll be ordering the Champion CC369 for my restomod '67 . I can see why some may want a "fancy" name on a total show build BUT I plan on driving mine way more than having it sit with the hood open at some parking lot show .Did the OP ever send his back or get a refund ?

I was thinking the exact same thing.... Wow

I hope you get this resolved. It looks like to me you could trim the upper blocks that the rubber sits on top of. Maybe the bottom too?

Re: New Entropy Radiator that DOESN'T FIT

Yall can call me crazy but this was in theory the one for my truck. If this motor gets over 220 degrees it doesn't go so well so i went with a quality product. I did just find out that the sent my money back but i still have this radiator.
