Re: The Disco Chicken
I see I have some people watching I hope I don't disapoint anyone, The Mast Motor Sport plate was on there because My buddy that I got the truck from works for Mast, From what I understand the wiring is supposed to be simple it has to have an external regulator for the alternator because the original was controlled by the computer, but of corse after buying a regulator I found a conversion kit for the alternator, and I'm using the Dodge A518 overdrive trans which was also controlled by the computer so I bought a contraption that is supposed to make it work, and for motor mounts there appears to be 3 kinds 1. 4x4 mounts 2. mounts that bolt to the block then to the chevy frame mounts 3. and the ones I bought which bolt to the Chevy frame and to the Dodge isolators and engine motor mounts and they are supposed to keep the oil pan flush with the cross member, Gonna use the Dodge radiator, intercooler, and a/c condenseor and only minor beating of the fire wall and reshaping of the pinch weld on the trans tunnel but that is using an adapter plate with Chevy trans so I don't know if it will be better or worse but it's nothing that hasn't been done just maybe not all at one time

Re: The Disco Chicken
Well made a tiny little bit of progress yesterday hopefully things will start picking up steam I think we are going to take 2 inches out of the oil pan for a little extra ground clearance so stay tuned

Re: The Disco Chicken
That looks like the idle solenoid and relay for when the AC comes on. The rod in the solenoid would push on the throttle lever on the carb when the AC was turned on.
