4 links or 3 links are known for there smother ride over leaf. I have a universal 4 link in mine, Love it.

The black truck was put together with a triangulated 4 link and the 48 Burb has a parallel 4 link with panhard bar. The truck rode and handled well.

Ifs installed, still undecided on rear suspension.

I'm a big fan of 4 links. They do cost a little more but I feel it's money well spent.

Speedway Motors has a "bolt in" triangulated 4 link. You have to weld or find someone to weld the brackets to the axle though.

Hi lower50's, i'm enjoying your travel adventures & your excellent build, i had planned to go to Charlotte and meet you but some health issues got in the way.

My son went ahead and purchased the TCI parabolic leaf spring kit from Speedway the first of November. He has removed the original springs, hangers, etc. and has mounted the new spring hangers. We're looking for another rearend currently to get it back rolling. He also ordered a complete floor pan, cab corners, cowl panels, innner to outer cowl panels, & tall footwell kick panels from Nsane HotRodz. They were great to deal with, & we're talking with two shops to try & get the metal work done.

Haven't posted is quite a while, my son picked up a 6.0 LS & trans. from '05 GTO in late February. We haven't tried to install yet, we're still looking at how to mount the engine/trans. He did work a deal with a local body guy & he installed the complete floor, both cab corners, firewall & toeboards, both cowl panels, both cowl inner panels. Will try & get some photos up soon.
