We usually get the most heavy snows in March/Early April. Something to do with the increased energy in the atmosphere. And as someone noted, yes, the wind blows in Wyoming.

When people in Florida complain about hurricane force winds, I respond with, "Thats how we know its Tuesday in Wyoming."

Re: Getting some snow in Denver today

that was a serious storm. I am in Golden (just west of denver) and I almost didn't make it driving on the back streets, not much clearance on my scion car.

I would drive the longhorn but it is as worthless as could be in snow, I really need a posi.

now once i was all done digging out, I did fire up the old dolphin (I crammed a lexus 1uzfe v8 in it). Best vehical i have for the snow! crazy how well that thing does.

we do need a Denver meet up soon! I need some good truck buddies.

Re: Getting some snow in Denver today

We got pummeled up North, spent 3 hours straight shoveling my home and my neighbors who's got a bad heart. You'd shovel for 20 minutes and look backward - didn't look like you'd even been through there. There was a point we were getting an inch about every half hour. Big old snowflakes coming down fast and in such a large volume that you couldn't see more than a few feet. After the fourth rotation of his home and mine I finally gave it up and took a nap.

24 hours later most of it melted away and tomorrow night were looking at a second big storm.
