Well another day done trying to repair other people's pore repairs.
Inlet manifold off then to find loose bolts every where,
Gasket sealant in places it really shouldn't be.
No thermostat either,
Time for good degrease and clean then refit all the bits.

Used to clean my muzzle loading revolvers in the dishwasher, until the wife found out what Id been doing!!!!!

Sometimes they can be a real spoil sport!

She wasn't impressed in the morning when she found in the dishwasher.!!!!
All back together now got to do rocker cover gaskets next then can fire it up.
Take some pics tomorrow now time to find a radiator.

Little update.
After putting it back together more problems over heating new radiator,
Managed to find one local to me.
Nice new alloy one,had to make home made puller to straighten filler neck.
Then to sort the dent in the bonnet gonna post some pics.
Then just need to find some indicater inserts.

Jesus I know what you mean I'm having a nightmare chasing GMC exhaust valves which are hard to get in the USA never mind UK

The previous owner had thing about horns.
There is one on the roof why you would drill in a good roof is beyond me.
Set of Dixie horns duel ones and a standard one I rest my case never know which one to press lol
