KS 3 NOS GM Dash Pads

Are these the early ones with metal shell? Or are they the later ones with a metal strip only for the studs? If the type with metal shell than I will take one.

It has a metal strip. I've been working on these trucks for over 50 year and have never seen one with a metal shell. What years were they on?

They were more common on early trucks 67/68. The ones with a metal strip warp in one year of california sun. I have a couple used ones. Will post photo when I get off work. They exist Roger although all the NOS ones I have ever seen are the ones like you have. My 69 had one as well and many 69's ive seen had the metal strip type. So it might have been that GM had several suppliers and one made them different.
