Re: Hey, let's see some canadian c10's

Welcome to the board fellow Canuck!

Here is my Oshawa built Jan 67 Alberta farm truck. Bought new at Stedelbauer Chevrolet in Edmonton.

Wouldn't be a farm truck without the hat and gun rack.

Smile Re: Hey, let's see some canadian c10's

Ok...I'll weigh in here as well.
Here is my '72.
Its an original California truck (good history), highlander (high) optioned, 1/2 ton, original engine (rebuilt- 90's) and I sold a (Arizona truck) '72 Cheyenne Super to get it.
It needs the upper blue and white inset sprayed tho' (maybe this coming year) and its original highlander seat could use a 'redo' before too long.
Regardless...it is a really great, reliable little DD truck and a testament to how good these trucks were and still are.
all Good

Calgary/Regina here. Have been looking for the right 72 for a year or so now. Plenty have popped up south of the border but the exchange rate is killing me.

Re: Hey, let's see some canadian c10's

In Calgary, AB. I hope to cruise out to Shuswap Lake this summer in it. Truck is originally from California where I bought it 4 years ago and drove it to Texas where I was living at the time. Here's the whole story: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=595586

FYI I have an Alberta C10 facebook group. I'm hoping to put together a little cruise this summer. Out to Bragg Creek is the idea. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1453036938338296/

Dad's 71 big block, in Calgary too:

Are there any Canada only features on our trucks? I was into X frame cars for a while. The 62 Impalas from Canada had unique air cleaners and hood hinges.
The pink ones were some kind of a special addition truck. They had something to do with Margaret Trudeau. Don't know the whole story though.

It looks more like a 69 because their plates were dark green with white letters. In 72 they were white with blue letters. Or the plate is wrong!
