Re: Lowering Block apinions
I made 1 1/4" blocks with my 4/6 ece kit. With the spacer for the track bar it made it more like 1 1/2".
This was the safest I felt using with my 15" wheels. pretty sure that gave me about one inch off the ground with 2 flats. I noticed this when each one of my roller tires decided too blow out while reassembling my 67. It's not the greatest idea but blocks have been used many times without much problems. The biggest issue I would have is uneven roads or the dip or arch or the shoulder of the road when the flat tire happens.

Re: Lowering Block apinions
Now I wish I had taken a picture when I did my test. From what I saw, there is no way anything would drag with one flat, but two may be a different story. I'm going to leave mine the way it is, I'm not too worried about having two flat tires simultaneously.

Re: Lowering Block apinions
Ok went out to the barn today to look for some parts for a member and snapped a couple of pics of the chassis.
15 inch wheels, 4 inch springs, two inch blocks, and I believe ECE shock relocators. Looks like just the blocks would make it really close, but add on the shock relocators and you are below the scrub.
