Re: How sweet it is...
I love it! I would have a yard full of these trucks but my wife won't let me. She also won't let me get rid of any. Go figure.

Re: How sweet it is...
I've always want one man! I was so thrilled to get it. It's at the shop now getting a few things done that I can't do. Front brake shoes installed along with shocks and e brake cables and bleed out good with new wheel cylinders installed. Carb rebuild and maybe a new HEI cap and wires.

Re: How sweet it is...
The truck will stay as is on the outside but the insides and power train will be done right to make it reliable on the road.

Looking at the pics Andy, be real careful the first time you load any low vehicles on there, like the 64. That's an awfully steep and short dovetail on the back, the rockers could get high centered.

The first test fitting will be done very carefully you can count on it.

Re: How sweet it is...
I got the radiator a few weeks ago and today I got it installed. The factory clamps work on it but they are not perfect fit. The bottom fit good the tops are lacking but they are holding it for now. I needed to get it swapped because of cold weather coming and I didn't want to waste antifreeze in the old one. I have it all done with the correct mix in her now!
Next is the brakes to get redone. I had the new front shoes installed but they system needs a complete over haul. Drain it all out and put new master with good clean fluid in it.

Re: How sweet it is...
Great looking radiator. You probably already know this, but make sure you get a fan shroud or your cooling will be nil when it gets hot outside.

Re: How sweet it is...
That's a 6 cylinder. That finger gourd at the top is all they came with from the factory. My 67 cools fine, and it's a c30 dump truck that I have worked hard with no issues.

Re: How sweet it is...
350 v-8. I had the finger guard so I used it. I do need to put a shroud on it I guess. I haven't driven it enough to get it hot yet. This is going to be a cheap as I can do it redo!
