Re: Anyone used these bolt in c-notches?
I sent performanceonline a email again today was told that my info was given to the customer service dept it's been 4 working days since I first contacted them about the c notch not being correct and my project is on hold. So far not a real fan of this vender.

Re: Anyone used these bolt in c-notches?
I just installed these same c-notches on my 71. Mine looked the same as yours when you just lay them on the frame.
What I did was, started at the front side holes, drilled them, and bolted them. Then moved to the next couple side holes, drilled them and bolted them. Then the last two side holes(where the bracket had the gap between frame and bracket) and drilled them and bolted them. Then I moved to the top ones, drilled and bolted from the front to the rear. This worked for me. I left the top bracket in place while I cut the notch. I nicked the bracket a few times You'll have to remove a few bolts to put the bottom bracket in. But those help you to line up the rest of the holes to drill. Good luck!

Re: Anyone used these bolt in c-notches?
The larger hole on the top side that is used for the locating hole on the rivet would not work for mine. Just sent it back and they are sending me the regular 1 piece notch that will actually be fine I have no plans to ever tow with it.

Re: Anyone used these bolt in c-notches?
Just installed the replacement c notch from performance online. This one fit much better than the first one. It came with grade 5 hardware and I swapped it out for grade 8. I'm ready to clean the frame and spread some Por-15
