I use a 90 jimmy as my daily driver. Has the same wheels you do. I sprayed some aircraft paint stripper on them. Peeled the clear coat. Then was able to get a better polished shine out of them.

I thought the wiring was gonna be hard to get done it wasn't when you're young and fixable it makes some things easy.

Re: 1987 gmc jimmy daily driver build

So after a few days of thinking about the engine swap I've decided to wait till the first of the month because I want to reseal the 6.2 before it goes in the truck.so this weekend I'm pulling the front end off the truck so I can pull the engine and trams And reseal the tcase fix the crack in the frame and maybe paint the firewall aswell finish rebuilding the engine wire harness.and today I started stripping the interior out so I can fix the rusted out rear seat holes.

Re: 1987 gmc jimmy dally driver build

Thanks.what happened with the c10 was I started collage in October and the c10 started running horrible so i tried to fix it.I rebuilt the carb new plugs wires and cap still ran like crap so I parked it in the shop behind my house till March when I got tired off driving my dads truck.so I had to pull it back out and try to fix it again and the whole problem was the vaccum line at back of the trans was spelt in half.so new line and it runs like it use to.
