AR NOS Tilt pointer cover

That's weird, I have 4 trucks with tilt and they are all plastic. All of these I have NOS are plastic as well.
It's amazing how much can be learned on this site.
I wonder if the metal were pre 72? All of my trucks are 72.

Same part # but metal with a satin to flat black finish.

I have owned 10+ 72s with tilt. All were metal, and most need re-finishing over the years.

Maybe that's the trick, The plastic covers are more forgiving. One never can tell

Not a lot of plastic was used on these great trucks back in the day.
Do all of your housings come with the box?

I think there is a bigger demand for the Metal, Ive had several ask about em. I think they would bring more than mine.

Later production ones were plastic. I've seen them before. Doesn't really matter, It isn't a part subjected to stress so they don't break.
