Re: Who has a RideTech StreetGrip system on their truck? I have a few questions.

Yes it is. I live about an hour and a half from Hebron and have some friends down in that area. I might have to check out that junk yard. Sounds like fun.

Re: Who has a RideTech StreetGrip system on their truck? I have a few questions.

I don't think this kit was out when I ordered my ECE 4/6 kit 3 years ago ($850 or so, plus expensive shipping). The expensive part of the Ride Tech kit is their shocks which are quality parts. The shocks in the ECE kit are quite poor, in fact ECE posted on here they like using ride tech shocks on their personal truck with ECE coils/spindles. I can't afford it, but upgrading the KYB shocks that come from ECE to the RideTech ones would make a great improvement in ride quality.

A few opinions from me:
- The c notch is not required with 6" drop in the rear, at least with a few thousand miles since doing a 6" rear drop from ECE.
- I prefer a 2.5" front drop spindle and 2" drop spring for the look of 4.5" total drop up front.
- The handling of my C10 with the ECE 4/6 kit, plus front sway bar dramatically reduced body roll on my C10. But, I can confidently say the more expensive Ride Tech kit would provide a better ride then the ECE kit.
- Summary: Look good for cheap with ECE kit, handle ok. Handle good, look good with RideTech kit ($$).

Ekliptix, your truck in beautiful! I love that Green. Thanks for the objective information. This helps my decision a bunch. I plan to meet up with the Ride Tech team when they are in my state next month. With a little luck, the truck in this post will be there, and I'll get a first hand experience with it. Till then I'll be doing my homework and saving my money. Here's a picture of one of my motorcycles. It would look killer next to your truck.
