10k certified is the way to go. I have a Derek Weaver 10k certified lift that is made by Rotary. One of the best tool investments I've made in a long time. My only regret is not buying it sooner.
I installed mine myself with the help of my dad and a buddy. It was much easier than I expected. Just make sure you do a good job of measuring where you want it before you install it then take your time squaring it up.
