Yes, I want to get them powder coated white, meaning I have to take them off, remove tires, sandblasted and powder coated. If I could clean them on the truck and paint them I might do that, just cant figure out how to do it without a compressor and a good sandblaster.. The original spare is still under the bed

I was told last time I put tires on the front that one of the rims was slightly bent so I need to swap out the spare rim anyways, hate to do it but don't like all the tire weights I have on one of my rims..

Sorry Chevyfan I did not see this. I used Rustoleum 2X Ultra Gloss Deep Blue

There was a regular blue that might actually be closer to the original color but I liked the deep blue better.

First quote I got was 500 for 4 wheels, drive it in, they do it all, sounds like a reasonable cost for pulling the tires off, sandblasting, powdercoating then remounting and balancing... maybe I should buy some tires while they are working on it and have them put the new tires back on when they are finished

save a few bucks.

Mom found a new picture of the truck in its newness! 1972, dad standing in front 15 yrs younger than I am today and an uncle standing to the side. I see the mirrors were in the right place!
