Re: Last minute build issues, camaro clip

I had to so some research on the control arm swap and from what I read that is the simple solution.

I ended up on a G body Monte Carlo site where they were talking putting the F body (Camaro) lower control arms on the Montes to give huge negative camber for road racing or Gymkhana or Streetkahana. So they actually go the other way with the lowers.

This is a new one on me but sure seems like a viable fix on a lot of older subframed trucks that have tire clearance issues.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Thanks everyone for your input.🍺👍
I'll post as I go when my parts get here.

I also sent detroit steel wheels yet another email last night.
What an absolute disappointment that outfit is.
I am building hot rods full time here, this was my first purchase from them. I was looking forward to using them of several other projects.
They haven't responded to me, hopefully they can find time to respond👎
How did the install of your new suspension parts go and did the customer service get better in the end? Awesome truck you have...style for days!
