Re: Rarest Option
As soon as I can dig it out I will start posting pics (also need to find a hosting site, Who is everyone using?). Recently moved into this house and I am still digging out the garage to even get to it. Have multiple projects and all their parts piled on top of each other at the moment....With that said I bought a 80's front clip last weekend. Build thread will be coming soon....

Re: Rarest Option
1964 C20 and C30 with COPO 327 engines. Have a C20 COPO 327, loaded with most options. CA truck. How many were made? We know of two.
Also, the 1966 trucks with the turbo 400 trans is low production, per Yelmer's information. Les Last edited by aotte1; 08-10-2017 at 01:49 AM. |

Re: Rarest Option
Don't know about rarity, but I've only seen 1 or 2 dimming rear view mirrors, and I've scoured a lot of junkyards...and still don't have one.....

But you don't need to use a hosting service, you should upload them through the forum tool. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=627506

66 Short Fleet BBW with Factory AC, Turbo 400, 327C.I. 4 Barrel, AM/FM radio.
Bought new by my Wife's Uncle in 64 in Modesto Ca. He passed away and the family sold it for 10 grand last year. Complete and no rust or dents of any kind. It was gone before I even knew it was for sale. |

Re: Rarest Option
Would have liked to seen the SPID decal on that one! The 2 speed powerglide was the only auto listed for C 10's, unless there was some type of special order? The 3 speed 400 auto was only listed for C 20 and C 30's in '66.

Re: Rarest Option
I would say the rarest option would be the 2 stage air filter system. Other than that, most rare options are really just low production items or accessories that jbgroby mentioned. Others include, 17.5" 6 lug wheel, 19.5" 8 lug wheel, factory grill guard, air conditioning , power steering, 4 way flasher and below eye line (bus type) 3 bracket mirrors. GMC specific, would be the '66 sport trim package and stainless steel "prutsman" west coast mirrors.
