I'll post up my K10 . . . There are some truly awesome trucks here, I'm not sure mine can compete. It's in the bodyshop right now for some tailgate repair, but it'll be back on Friday. I will take a whole bunch of pics once the body is all perfect. It's my only vehicle, so I drive it everyday and it's got about 50k miles on a frame off resto. Can't wait to have it back.
-Dave- Ok so I got it back. Here are some pics. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...threadid=78329

I definately have to vote for MUDDER67, I met him up at the Lincoln 4x4 Jamboree and he was such a good guy. My dad and I talked to Randy for a few hours. He diffinately did a good job on the truck and is an all around good guy.... especially to let his daughters drive it. Anyways... just thought I would post the same pic of my truck with my old one... me and my dad worked hard on them while in high school. I now drive the Super for College up here at Kansas State. It has factory air (not hooked up) factory cruise that I know of.... tach, tilt, buckets & 35 inch bfg mudder's around 4-5 inches of lift ... and the oh so cool original hubcaps. Anyway, I just would like to give compliments to everyone's trucks on this site.... no matter what stage it is in, it is your truck and it's great knowing it's in this era. Trevor

Well, the truck on the left is my old truck. Me and my dad restored it twice. It was originally a 2wd swb 1969 c-10. We first painted it all bahama blue and put it on a '73 3/4 ton chassis we cut down. At that time it had 36 Wrangler Rt's on it. Then the next summer.. my junior year of high school. We painted it black, made the cowl hood, raised it another 4 inches, put 1972 components on it (doors, grille, bumper, and houndstooth bench in it, as well as a tach, and original 4x4 shifter, cheyenne super interior and emblems. Then a few months went by and me being young and all, I thought go bigger!..... Thus windin up with it w/ about 10 inch lift and 42 inch Swamper Tsl's. This was mighty enough to go through my pond which was about 4-5 ft high so I thought that was pretty impressive, especially with only a 350. It also went through some high snow on the back roads. Nothing like good times with the old g/f crashing through snow drifts to get her into town.

I looked through all these pics, and there are some very fine rides. Some were totally frame off deals, some have recieved just a shave and a haircut, and I know a few are just still chuggin through the years untouched for the best part.
Here is my nomination. This Burb is not only her daily driver, but it has takena few trips from Cali to Georgia, long trips from Ga to Texas, from Caly to Oregon. This is her only means of transportation with the exception of borrowing her husbands truck, or the kids car. This rig is the family hauler, and has been for quite a few years now. Up untill last year, it was the only vehicle that the family could ride in...and I doubt everyone has crawled into the kid's car (A toyota if memory serves) at the same time to go anywhere. I nominate GMCJunkie |
