Re: Centennial...67

I just order out the front emblem. I don't think I am going to get it tho. Looks like gm is restricting the orders to the anniversary vins only.

Re: Centennial...67

Just checked the answer back on my order from GM and it did indeed cancel. The only way they can be ordered out right now is with the correct vins. with out that all orders will cancel.

Bummer I was kind of hoping to add it to my garage art.

I wonder how many dealer will have one on display. Take a camera and get the s/n to order them.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

GM did have the 2016+ badges available but SO MANY PEOPLE bought them at once GM cancelled the orders and supposedly you can only get them now with the VIN of a 100th anniversary truck. They are supposed to be offered as a GM accessory soon though.

What sucks is that GM made the bowtie smaller when they changed the grille for the 2016, so they won't fit my 2015 Apparently the 2016 HD bowtie is the same size, but who knows if they'll do an HD version.
Right now, I'm wondering how it's mounted on the grille. I know that's not a flat surface, and as far as I can tell, that is a flat emblem with adhesive..

GM is supposed to be adding them as an accessory item later this year/early next year.

Re: Centennial...67

OK. Lets all take a step back. A lot of you are reading some of these posts wrong.

The part numbers for the bowties that were posted in this thread that were available will only fit a 2016-2018 silverado grille. As far as I know, there is no such part available for a 67/68 at this time.

You might be able to adapt it, but if its close in size to the one on my 2015 Silverado, it's a lot bigger than a 67/68 bowtie.

Re: Centennial...67

The bowtie for the front and back of a 2016+ silverado are the only ones that GM had available.
