Re: Wheels Vintiques 31 series - who's running them?
Nice to know those caps fit the speedway wheels. Thanks for posting that!

Re: Wheels Vintiques 31 series - who's running them?
I just bought a set of Rev 18x8 and 18x9 for my Chevelle, $1500 with Toyos. Nice wheels and my factory sombreros fit.

these are 18x8 rev wheels. they are 6 lug. got them from WHEEL DEALER who has a ebay store. they were less than $800 with caps. they have other center caps and different sizes of wheels.

Re: Wheels Vintiques 31 series - who's running them?
RedRider do you have the wheels on the truck and driving?
I have been searching speedway and summit, Amazon for the Vision brand 6 lug rally wheels, and read multiple complaints of customers not being able to have shops get the wheels balanced. Was ready to buy for my 1965 C10with 6 lug front discs, but now being cautious. So it seems both companies (wheel vintiques & Vision) have issues. I had for years wanted American Racing chrome torque thrust, or torque thrust D, but that means swapping over to 5 lug all around. Might just stick with the chrome modular wheels that was on truck when I bought it in 1995, I've always thought they have a 1980's look to them since buying the truck, but as time keeps moving on the 1980's is not so horrible now, in 1995 the 80's were just not cool as in wheel style IMO. These rally wheels look great but sounds like too many issues of poor balance or out of roundness. |

Wheel was dirty, just mocking it up on the CPP 6 lug rotors years ago. |

Hmm if they worked for you, that sounds better. Any pics of the wheels with tires mounted or on your truck? |

This said something about being from a 1986 catalog, so maybe my wheels are 1980's? However I think the rally wheels do look more period correct. |
