Crank, rods, pistons in a Pontiac are heavier, also. You any closer to working on the 428 for yours? |

An unrelated topic. With your experience...I believe that Chevrolet made the 327 into 1969? If they did, did they make a large journal 327 after 1967???

Correct. My pet engine is a 327 that same out of a '69 B-body. It has been in one or another of our family trucks since about 1980. It is a large journal engine and has, near as we can figure, about a half million miles on it.
