Re: post photos of backup camera
Where'd you find that toggle switch plate? I want one that looks old for overdrive, winch, lights. Matt

Where is your camera mounted? Can you share a photo of the camera mounting setup too?

Re: post photos of backup camera
Camera version 2.0 pictured below.
NOAUKA IP68: CAM01($12.99) https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XN...op_mb_pd_title Still need to connect wires to the head unit (monitor) to determine if this new camera offers an improved viewing angle. The new camera angle will likely not be impacted by the glare from license plate light. The camera will need to be taken as part and lens rotates 180 degree since the camera mounting post is designed to be mounted vertically, not horizontally as shown here.

Re: post photos of backup camera
To correct the upside down image issue. I opted not to take the camera apart but instead mounted it on a horizontal surface as designed instead of a vertical surface as originally photographed.

Re: post photos of backup camera
Some nice clean camera installations here. I never thought of buying one myself, after spending my life adapting and using safe backing practices. I find no fault in others who feel the need. I hate getting backed up over or having my vehicle hit because someone can't back up. My girlfriend's solution is try to never have to back up. She certainly could use a camera.
So anyway, here is a picture of my backup camera, just for fun

Re: post photos of backup camera
FWIW, it's been years since I initiated this project, but I finally installed the camera in a location and position I'm happy with and completed wiring. Here is the result. The dash was already cut to accommodate a CD player by the previous owner otherwise I would have kept it stock.
Rear view visibility over the rear bench seat and spare tire on a Blazer is limited therefore this has been a tremendous improvement.
