Its super easy and is almost identical to the passenger side after cutting and rewelding. Do you remember if I posted about it?
Basically I cut the pillar in about 5 sections and flipped them over and to the left then rewelded them together, the 5 sections are all straight when cut and then when flipped they make a mirror image.
Inside the B pillar is a hing reinforcing plate, I did the same with it but cut it in 3 section I think.
The hinges I just flipped over and drilled one new hole on the door side to match my million piece door.

If I didn't post about it, I can do it and number the sections with pictures.
The upper half (door frame section) of the B pillar I just used as is, the seam is in the front vs the rear on the other side.

Just ask if you have any questions about what I did or what I might have done differently.

Sounds like you have a great plan and a good start.
Randy
Thanks for that info.
I studied your build extensively
for quite awhile.
I don't remember those details
in your build.
I have a back log of pics now of stuff
That I have been mocking up.
So I can understand how it wasn't.
I can almost picture the reverse flip now.
But like they say your pics would be worth a million words.
Thanks
Dwayne

I'm almost positive I didn't post it, I will take some pics and number the pieces with a marker and post up on my thread, I will try to do that this weekend.

Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30

Thanks Randy
That will help A lot.
I'm Going to start working on a jig
this weekend for those letters on the hood .
It is going to be a coin toss for me
when it comes time to put the hood on.
Do I use Original hood or Hood Scoop Repop ?
So I could use the jig if I go that route.
I already have some angles and (Ruff) blueprints drew up.

Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30

The center jig is the (time consuming one).
Once the holes are drilled in the center with this jig the two side jigs will line up. The side jigs are Simple.

Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30

I got some time to work on bracing the cab
for replacing the whole floor.
I made brackets to utilize the bolt holes for dash
and gas tank mounting bolt holes.

Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30

I drove to Cleveland ,Tn. today and
purchased a Coach Controls Coupe23B long
wiring package. Thanks to member halfstep
for bringing this business to my attention.
Met with the owner of the company.
(He has exp. with NASA,Race cars, Old cars and etc.)
Spoke with him about my build and talked about
the package that would be best for my Build.
For the people that are staying (Factory-Style)
there is other company's that have options
that are more suited for that type of build.
Maybe my next build will be more (original).
I have been studying the wiring of our trucks.
I even made a big copy of wiring diagram
that is saved in the FAQ .
(3rd picture at the bottom.)
He was impressed when I explained to him
how easy it was to find this type of info and
the knowledge base of this Forum.
When He showed his Wiring Schematic
I knew that was a good plan for my Build.
(1st picture is front & 2nd is the back )
This wiring diagram is the layout of his kit.
It is very easy to understand.
I wanted this kit now so I can build
my cab to pick the best location.

That is a great way to use those cool pliers and the hi hump to get that gap lined up.

Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30

Now that my floor-pan is fitting like I want it too.
I cut some more tubing and drill holes in the tubes
to use the seat mounting bolts
and welded that to my cross-bracing.
So I can remove the floor Again

Size: 101.7 KB
I chose to do this for easy access
to the foot-well patches that I'm going to
replace. Once I fit both foot-well patches,
I will tack them in & put the floor back.

Then I will repair the lower A-Pillar.
Doing it this in this order I can keep
the location of the 2 lower a-pillar
and lower fender mounting holes in
the ( same ) location.
I used a small dremel tool
on the spot welds. It worked good
for this area.
