Here is a more recent picture. this is at a local car show. as seen here you can see the checkmate hard bed cover. I still am running the stock length rear shocks, when i replace them with a shorter unit it will lower another inch in the rear to level out.

alreadys and maybes

approx. 400 hp 355/400 combo (350, keith black silvolite pistons, camel hump heads reworked, scat crank, comp cam .487/.490 eldelbrock performer rpm intake and carb, ram horns with 2.5 inch exhaust and 2 chamber flowmasters.
rebuilt rear w/342 gears
20x8 and 20x9.5 (245-35-20 and 275-35-20)
most body work is finished, need to relcate fuel cell to rear.
on air, slam specialties bags, 1/2" lines with 3/8" electric valves, viar compressor, 5 gallon tank, relocated front and rear shocks, 2.5" dropped spindles, adjustable pan hard, all poly bushings.
interior semi stock so far besides audio and billet wheel.
color is in the air, i am thinking a pale yellow with a white roof and white front mask, i am converting it to a 67 front clip soon, the other clip is ready.

future interior will be a beige supple leather or vinyl with fiberglass door panels for the mids and tweets and a fiberglass sub box to match, i am also saving for a no-limit gauge cluster.....

sweet beginning,

My major set back is that my truck is my daily driver. Can no longer tear it diwn too far in fear that i wont be able to get to work.......

did you order those gauges directly from no limit..

oh yeah i also have the brothers 1 piece windows, non electric, ready in my other doors.

I actually have a four wheel disc conversion that will go on at the same time as the wheels. They are Baer 13.25" rotors(drilled, slotted, zinc-washed, and vented). They come with a huge caliper for the front.

At the same time I do the wheels I'm doing the following:
drop spindles
drop springs(front and rear)
front end rebuild kit
4 wheel discs
5 lug axles
eaton posi traction
new gears and bearings for the rearend

All in the next two months. Too bad this is my daily driver. I'm having to borrow a friends ride.

Thanks, No I don't have any clearance problems with this combination. My wheels up front are 20 X 8 with 245/45/20 and in the rear are 20 X9.5 with 275/45/20. the truck is lowered 4 & 6

greens69, Very cool. Do you have any pictures looking down the side of your truck? I'd like to see how your backspacing is. Also, do you know what your backspacing is?

Sorry about that I got confused on tire sizes there, they are Michelin Pilot XGT Z4 245/40/20 and 275/35/20 I don't know what I was thinking . The back spacing on the rear is 5" and the front i believe is 4.5"

You are correct, these wheels are becoming popular. I actually was in the ordering process for some B. Coddington wheels but they had like a 6-8 week back order. I only had 3 weeks till I had to get my truck on the road. I ordered these from a friend and ordered the tires offline from a reallly inexspensive place in Tenn.

I will try to post some ride height pics soon. but trust me I do not air it up too much to cruise around my small town. and about 3 inches for freeway cruising
