looking good. what does that dash look like when it's all done? did you have to fill in the end vent and headlight switch due to narrow cab?
did you set the firewall back from the original 55 firewall location? kinda looks like it with the fillers at the top of the firewall. it came out really nice anyway, great skills you have there.
just curious, with the smaller OD tires, whats the cruising rpm on the highway like? I/m thinking of using 235/60r17 or 235/55r17 just to keep the rpm a little lower at highway speeds.
nice job on fitting the stuff under the hood as well. my battery will live under the box.

Very nicely done. The narrowed dash looks factory. Did not read where your wheels came from. Choices are definitely limited. When I studied putting the entire floor and firewall in, it felt like I was running out of cab room to put seats in. Stayed with factory '59 floor. Will you be using smaller than the TB SS seats? Mine came out of a Saturn Vue. Mini Cooper seats looked promising too. I lowered the body onto the TB frame as low as I could reasonably get it. As a result, my front tires rubbed the top of the wheel opening when I was reversing and turning and when I was going forward up an awkward driveway ramp. When I replaced the front strut assemblies, it all stopped. I must have gained a little height with the fresh springs. Any bigger wheel/tire combo on mine would have not worked.

Dash ends aren’t finished, but if I were to do it again I would cut out 1” from door where the dash meets it, like some new cars. I set back the firewall about 3/4” so that dash would fit better n I could give the firewall a more finished look( needs painted yet). I have not driven it on highway yet to check rpm but I did do calcs n Rpm will go up. Wheels r Moto Metal from BB wheels, not much choice for trailblazers, they were on sale, with tires less than $800. I’m using factory seats, alittle tight, but I’m not planning any long trips with it n using them everything just plugged right back in n I’m not that tall (5’9”). If I were to do the cab again I would have added 6 to 8” for more cab room. I believe Raven is doing that.
All n all was a pretty easy project. Thanks for your interest.

here is a thread for a stretch cab on a trailblazer where the doors are extended instead of extra behind the doors. it would look better than adding the material behind the door if not going for enough stretch to add a window. my opinion only. the issue becomes the door skin I would think. the door skin is tapered on the body line front to rear so you may have to fab a new skin. not the end of the world though. the rest of the door stretch would be pretty straight forward if you have the skills to do the other part of the cab and frame swap. haha.
I cut my dash on each end but then the vents need to be made smaller and the headlight switch needs a revamp. not that far yet as I have other stuff on my plate right now.

That stretch maybe beyond my skill level, but adding just 6” behind pillar may not look that bad then get smaller seats. It is pretty tight even on pass side on mine without the stretch n using the trailblazer seats so may have to rethink some things. I’m a project guy so I may get this further along n let somebody else have it, who knows. I haven’t seen anything on your build lately, coming along or to busy? Thanks for the info was very interesting.

Do you have pictures of what you did with the fuse panel and battery box under the hood? You might have more room than I do, since I'm using a 58 front end instead of a 55.

There’s a photo of battery and fuse box 1st set of photos on page 1, it is a tight fit.

Bed is finished. Had some leftover oak from a furniture project. Had to raise bed about 4” because of trailblazer frame plus I lowered it from original stance.
