Re: Big Blue

Nice progress so far!

What have you been using for paint and primer? Has it been holding up?

I have been using Rustoleum Professional primer and paint using a brush to apply it. Seems to be way more economical than spray cans with less mess and easier to do thick coats. Its been holding up very well! I have scrapped the black paint off during the axle install but it only ever goes down to the primer. Easy to touch up.

Re: Big Blue

A lot of good work and progress! It's coming together very nicely. You're even putting in creature comforts: sound deadening, air conditioning. Capable AND comfortable.

Re: Big Blue

I got the roof prepped and painted along with the rockers/floor/cab corners. I used spray cans of touch up paint from https://www.automotivetouchup.com

I'm on the other side, we get rotten interiors/dashes/rubber and paint.

Its an AAC carpet. It fits pretty good. It did require a little trimming but thats way better than being to short.

I finally found the Hickey brush guards to match the push bar. I have been looking for close to 5 years for these and was just about done collecting tools to make some.
