I remember at the age of 6 or seven, his giving me a big cardboard-backed picture book with color die-cut punch-outs of Harvester trucks. Put-Tab-A-into-Slot-B, and you had a fleet of Bread Vans, Travell-alls, Pickups and Crew Cabs... Cardboard trucks didn't last long but were a lot of fun on the rug for a rainy afternoon at the Grandparent's.
I had forgotten all about the I-H Travellette.
He was about 86 when I bought an Orange Chevy Stepside. Broke his poor heart. I had seen a couple of Harvester trucks -- I had said on the phone [now 23] -- but they wad been worked hard already [and put up wet.] Their gearing was way too low for inter-urban LA, even then.
The Body by Fischer look of the 68 Stepside had me in its spell.

Looks like your truck for sale at a local dealership. Stopped by there the other and they didn’t have any info on the truck. Do you have any details on the power train and mods to the frame, etc?

First time I've seen J39 Woodgrain Delete. Is that for the interior or the lower belt moldings?

And that truck is still gorgeous, as is BLT-NT-BOT's.

I remember those Internationals. The long bed version was used a lot for the railroads in wetern PA where I grew up. Lots of the farmers used them too,
