Re: Heartbroken

Get your dream ride and be done with it. Then, you'll be able to enjoy you ride and all the other things life has to offer. Otherwise, you'll be constantly searching and buying other things to try and fill the hole. Ask me how I know!

Re: Heartbroken

I flew up and drove mine home, actually I have done it twice, both for cars I have always wanted.

My Cadillac was only 4 hours away each way
My C20 was 11 hours each way.

Go for it. you only live once

I remember how much fun it was to drive my '66 Le Mans with the RAIII 400 in it. I really don't need another hot rod. I got rid of my Skylark because I don't need two money pits. I'm starting to miss that acceleration, though.

Re: Heartbroken

I say "Get it". I almost did not buy my 67 GMC 3500 when I first saw it on that remote farm all those months ago. The seller was asking too much for the condition, but I persisted and got it for a reasonable price. I have NO regrets about having done so, and would have been kicking myself forever if I had not bought it.
