Re: Wasted time

Nice score! Congrats.

If you don’t like those wheels you can sell them and raise money for other stuff.

The knock could be as simple as timing/octane.

Thanks! the wheels are growing on me, but I think two more inches lower all the way around and polished slot mags are in the future

Guy said it runs on 93 octane (prior info from original engine builder) and he too had a shop look at it saying it was a wrist pin knock. Really won't know till I yank it out and tear into it, just waiting to borrow an engine crane at the moment.

Re: Wasted time

There ya go! From what you've said and shown it seems like a good one. It sounds like you're not too concerned about the knock, no matter what it is. You were lucky to have a reason to travel that far, among what we're dealing with these days. Now you have something to keep you busy at home.

I want to blow this thing apart and get into it so bad! But I need a roof. Pops shop is stuffed like a shed and has about that much action in and out of it anymore

Re: Wasted time

You got a solid truck and that’s great. If you got the $$, time, and patience there is nothing that cannot be fixed or replaced.

Keep us updated.
