I don't have any details Jim, just kinda tore apart the insturment cluster and took a dremel with a cutoff wheel to it. I had to cut the lens where the tach is, the black metal piece behind that, and a small portion of the very back grey metal piece of the cluster. Take apart the cluster and you can figure it out pretty easily.

That's exactly what I did, I would also recomend painting all of the green on the back portion of the cluster. It will make the rest of the guages brighter and the tach will not seem as bright.

Slammed67,

Doesn't that Camaro tach use a circuit board?

The camaro tach doesn't need a circuit board, it has three lugs on the back, GND, 12V and tach input. Hook it up and go. There was a member who wrote up detailed instructions on how to put it in the dash too. Not any harder than putting in the others, and it looks more stock matches the factory gauges more. The others look good too, just can still tell it was not a factory part and looks very aftermarket, not that that's bad. All depends on what look you are going for.
