Re: One of the most actually rare trucks I've purchased
I guess a 3/4t would be good for milk toast?
I had a picture I showed here years ago of a restored single wheel C/30 egg truck at the landfill. I talked to the guy, original owner/egg man. He was hauling brush with it. Still lovin' it and still workin' it for chores

I think it should get some love to become a loved truck again.

Re: One of the most actually rare trucks I've purchased
I got up to see my mom this week and went by to grab pictures of this cool C/40 Cowl & Chassis box truck. So this would be the next notch up from that C/30 w/11,000# axle option... same rear. I'd love to get this away from this restaurant. I mean the truck is pretty cool and all that, but I just need a keg truck

Wow Tim! That truck is super cool! It looks physically better than the one I have IMO. Mainly because the taller grill etc, makes the truck look more proportioned.

Re: One of the most actually rare trucks I've purchased
Seeing pictures of these made me wonder about one I spotted along the highway a few years ago up on the Iron Range in Minnesota. Pretty sure its a C/40 cowl chassis, think it was a bread truck and its still there last I knew.

Re: One of the most actually rare trucks I've purchased
I'd say that the potential of what you can do with that rig is just about endless.
If I had it it would be turned into a nice camper/motor home rig. I've got a Camper out in the yard that is suffering the ravages of time on the outside but has near perfect appliances and pieces on the inside to do the conversion.

Re: One of the most actually rare trucks I've purchased
Not much has changed with this truck. My Dad and I did get it running last fall and we put some 19.5 wheels and tires on the LH side so it can be moved around. Here is a bad pic of it setting last winter. My kids love playing in this thing. I'm guessing someday it will be a transport truck for a catering business but that is yet to be determined.
Here is a pic of the VIN tag and it shows a GVW of 14,000.
