Are Panel chassis and 3100 chassis the same (body (lack of bed) mounts and kickup wise)? Asking to broaden my search terms when researching.

yes, other than a frame extension riveted on the back to support the door area
does your panel have the front sway bar? or was that on the suburban only?

It does have the sway bar as far as I know. Whether that was added within the last 65 years I have not a clue.

Mine also came from a panel truck. I used Jeep YJ sway bar links to replace the originals. They work well and many folks don't guess they're not original.
