I have heard that the majority of them do not have "real" cowl induction setups underneath. The only thing they do is look good and allow more cold air to come through from the back, or let warm air escape.
If you are good at welding I can get you a picture of the underside of my cowl hood on my Chevelle to model it after. Lost wages: beautiful truck! Smoooth comes to mind.

I really like the cowl hoods but I'm going to try a know trick on my truck
Im going to cut the ridge up the center of the hood off and make it look like a smooth hood If anyone has done this i like to see pics |
