1978-83 You change the dash switch and plug the delay module between the delay switch and the dash harness. The delay boxes are less common for these years. 1984-91 is a different delay module and the switch is in the column so it's a lot more involved but the same idea.

Yep, easy as this. For some reason someone removed my delay module in my 82 but kept the delay switch. I simply plugged in the delay module from my parts truck and all was good.
