Put all new weather seals welded up the mirror holes and got the doors installed. Also got the cluster installed. Dash is still tore apart because I'm waiting on new heater controls.

Got a new rear bumper. Picked this thing up and got it slapped on. The old bumper was welded on so that was fun. Also used the plate that came on the bumper as a pach panel.

Nice work! How hard was it to do the rockers? I need to do the rockers in my 88 before they get too far gone.

Pritty easy. Dropped it off at the body shop and they got done. Lol. Mine whare basically gone.

Got it back from the body shop. All the rust is gone. New fenders and inners. Even a battery tray. going to get a box for it this weekend. Rebuilt the kickpanle vents with new seals and new door to cab weather stripping and hidge pins and bushings also got the striker bushings. The cab is tight once again. Next fall it's will go back to get the doors box new hood and rest of the cab painted. All original elmraled green of course.

What do you want to see? Everything that's nice green is new. Along with the floor and cab supports. Same story on passenger side.

After waiting 3 months then about 15 hours of work. ( first time ever doing it.) Old green is 4 inches higher off the ground. Evey thing surprisingly came out with out any issues. It was putting the new stuff in that took for ever. It's a super lift 4 ich kit with blockes in the the rear. Rear was easy. Didn't take very long. I actually need to lift it because my new fender didn't clear the 33s. Old one rusted out in just the right spots not to rub.lol probably didn't need a 4 ich but I figured it's just as much work to do a 2 ich so why not. And I didn't want want 6 inch becuse the n I would have to get bigger tires or it would look like it skipped leg day.

Proportion is just about the most important thing when it comes to how a truck looks. Good call not lifting it so much that the wheels look small.

Added a new lower valic air dam thing. Then put some green leds on it. Think it looks cool anyway. Still trying to find a box. So just biding some time.

Got a box!! found out that a 81 box is different then a 83. The new box gas doors have a plastic thing that unbolts. My old 81 had a metal peace that is part of the box. So the filler necks are different. I got the filler necks off the 83 pickup. The other is I don't have the holes in the Fram for the realy long bed bolts second to the frount most ones. The 81 box instead had them located up further and whare normal length. You can see on the the 83 box whare they would go. And I need cab mounts bad. Thare is like 3 iched difference between the bottom of the rocker and the box.

Haven't posted in a while so figured it time for a update. I got a bigger cam and a better Intake installed on the 4th. It's comp cams 270 H Magnum. It is way better then the cam that was in it. Whent to a rpm air gap Intake over the torquer ii that was in it. Also decided to try out a GMC grill. I like it just wish it didn't have the emblem provisions like I wanted. That's Amazon for ya I gess. Also got a bull bar for it. I liked the grill guard but a bull bar was what I really wanted and I'm glad I got one because it looks great.
