Finshed welding up the last of the rust holes in my cab floor today. All that is really left on the inside of the cab now is to fab the metal pieces to fit between the rear of the door jambs and rear of cab as mounting areas for 6X9 speakers. On the outside of the cab I only lack modifying the drip rails to get rid of the ugly joints GM created then its prime and block time. I have a good tip for anyone that is interested: use 3M panel bonding adhesive rather than seam sealer. This stuff won't shrink, gets rock hard, sands like a dream and holds paint like there's no tomorrow. It is also great for covering welded areas to eliminate and pin holes that may be present.

I work on mine when funds allow
Being that it is is much more of transportation for me instead of a project, i am limited on what i could do to it. I'm also a college student without a job so funds are really tight.....i only spend money on it when i have to. Now if i had another ride, money, and a heated shop with air tools things would be different

I probably work on my truck too much. Here's the run down.
Today: Machined my new rear axles to fit my new rotors. Saturday: Tuned my truck on the chassis dyno. Friday: Bought AN fittings for my new master cylinder. Scaled my truck. Thursday: Helped my friend tune his sandrail. Wednesday: Fabbed a bracket for my proportion valve. Tuesday: Cant remember. Monday: Can't remember again. Sunday: Test fit my new brake booster and modified everything to fit properly. Need I go on. I should actually get a life and not work on my truck. In the next week I will do the following: Install brake booster, master cylinder, prop. valve, and make new brake lines. Install baer four-wheel disc brakes. Install drop spindles. Install four new springs. Mount and balance new 20" wheels and tires. Install new 20" wheels and tires. Install 5 lug conversion axles. In the next two weeks I will pay somebody to install my new Eaton Posi, 4.1:1 gears and all new bearings. Start building my exhaust system. Then I will be done and have a BRAND NEW TRUCK. Just give me 2-1/2 weeks. Then I will rest.........And find reasons to drive......

TBI swap is done does that count
My '93 TBI motored 1970 c10 is back on the road, in spite of a touchy throttle the swap is being sanitized day by day. Considering a thief stole the front clip (long story) and I replaced everything in the past 4 weeks along with the motor swap - I've been breaking my B@LLS on this truck.
