I bet the mixture screws on the back carb were just a blast to adjust on a dual quad. Think that would be easier on a short runner crossram setup. My first thought was a tunnel ram and how hard would it be to get the primaries rich enough.

Not that hard to adjust.
I used a shortened Schrader tool. It was short term carb experiment. First was afb’ s, then quadrajets and then holley’s. Afb’ s ran the best. Apologies for the thread jackin’. |

That plate is needed if you’re using a thin side walled open plenum intake like an eddy 2101.
Stock intake needs an adaptor like I linked. |
