The frame could be cut and tigged back together but if the glass is tempered you would have to have new pieces made. Tempered glass cannot be cut.
You could find a 1960 Parklane and get the rear window from it and install it.

Ok so I cut out the window opening. Going to finish it off with edge trim and then make my own removable window.

I like them too, BUT I am bias...lol
Look up "Destaco" clamps. You might be able to incorporate them into your removable design. If so, they are pretty handy and convenient. Destaco is a brand name, but others make them too. What are you thinking about the design specifics. Doing it yourself or hiring the fabrication out?

Rubber seal installed, next will fabricating a window. Going to make a template/ test piece out of plexi. Then have it made out of glass
