I know it is a ways off, but I believe the hotel was completely booked last year. And I know Tony Pardue is practicing for his attempt to be the go-kart champ this year(he needs to be).LOL

Just made my reservations. The hotel on the flier was booked up so I ended up making mine at the Holiday Inn on Parkway. I hope that it is on the strip. Couldn't remember if parkway is the strip. I guess I've got a bit of work to do before then. I ordered some of the Brown Bread insulation and I need to get a radio ordered before the trip. I already redid my exhaust and put the mufflers under the bed instead of the cab. I've got to get it a bit more comfortable to get the wife to agree to ride in it up there and back. I also started building a new center console that goes all the way back between my seats.

Sorry to have rambled. It would be cool if maybe we could arrange to meet up during the event sometime. I bet there will be more guys that stay at various hotels now that they are getting booked up. Maybe we can figure something out as it gets closer to the event. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I get to drive my old truck instead of my Dually.

02-14-04 Just made reservations at the host hotel.I suggest you members that have never been keep your eyes out for BB shirts, nearly everyone wears theirs. This also makes it easy to spot Tims Trailer since you wont be able to see the sign for the BB members.

Ok now I have a dumb question. What do you mean by BB shirts. I assume that there is a shirt to do with this board, but I don't see where on here to buy one. Someone clue me in please.

It refers to BOILERMAN and the shirts he did up and sold last year. Here's the post.

I have another idea about a way to recognize board members... I'll create a new post about it

The wife and I are planning our 10th trip to the show (still tentative at this time). Will be leaving Friday morning. Anyone around the Charlotte, NC, Rock Hill, SC, (Lancaster for Scott & Big O) that would like to cruise up together, or join in along the way give a holler. Route will be I-85n to I-26w via SC 11 to I-40w.

Is this a swap meet also, or just a show? Never been. We really need board T-shirts or something......

hey, Greg , looks like at least 2 of us are from Rock Hill. Yes Pigeon Forge is a swap meet as well as a pretty neat show. However, in the past, there has been another truck show at the other end of the strip on the same weekend but I have never attended hers. I think most of the board members go to this one.

We will be there, but the truck can't make it again this year, not quite together yet.

tnchev

You'll need to call tnchev first and make an appointment so he can be there. His elderly mother lives next to him and gets scared when people come by and he's not there. That why he says "by appointment only".

It's called golf because all the other four letter words were taken.

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
