I figure the push bumper on a wrecker is mostly for pushing dead cars around the lot, into a bay, or into a better position to hook up to the hoist. Anything that won't start with cables on road service would get hauled in to the shop

I'm so unreliable. I went up to look at his neighbor's work last evening. I was driving into darkness at 4:45 pm. As I got to the lane the first rain drop hit my windshield. Within 5 minutes the whole outdoors was a waterfall. Severe weather cells were predicted and they were right! I hung out and at supper there. Never got over for pictures, but I'll get back soon. I'll find and bring the thread back up
