1970 Grille question.

Here is a thread from 2020 in which member IronCanine illustrates the differences between an OEM 1970 iiner grille and an aftermarket 69/70 one and how he dealt with it on his beautiful 1970 Blazer restoration. His info starts at post #10 of the thread.

I just rebuilt the grille on my 1970 Blazer using NOS parts such as the parking lamp lenses, hood bumpers, headlamp doors, and outer grille shell. I reused the inner plastic grille, all bracketry, T3 headlamp bulbs, the parking lamp housings, and hood latch. I sourced the grille mounting fasteners from AMK Products.





I used the Molotow large tipped chrome pen for the raised bars, after refinishing the grille with Eastwood under hood black.
