All 3 look good, but I would go with the Red '69. Why? It's the only one with a Manual Trans !!

Re: Went and looked at 3 today!!

That Custom Camper is a Cheyenne just like my '71 was. same colors, too. Nowhere on the truck is Cheyenne indicated due to the Custom Camper fender badge (except Z84 on SPID and the Cheyenne features). I'd get "experts" arguing it wasn't a Cheyenne all the time.

Like I said before, great options on that K/20 base trim. No-Spin would be even better. A little added trim and better drivetrain options with a tach to keep an eye on things. Cool truck

The Deluxe emblem on the Highlander has the typical Janesville location too. Cool finds.

How much for the parchment seat belts and tilt column?

Was the 71 custom sport trucks called a Cheyenne? Was under the impression that 72 was the first year for the actual Cheyenne call out on the spid . Even though the CST had all the same accents as the Cheyenne

Re: Went and looked at 3 today!!

I don't know if all '71 Cheyennes were listed on the SPID as Custom Sport. Mine was that way. But Z84 in '71 means Cheyenne, regardless. I guess the SPID discrepancy fuels the nay-sayers' fire all the more. Literally no mention of it being a Cheyenne. No glovebox door emblem in '71 except Cheyenne Super. A guy who worked for me had a '71 Custom Camper Longhorn that was a Custom Deluxe, so by comparing the two trucks is how I figured out it was a Cheyenne
